On July 11 ^th, 2016, a team of 20 faculties and students of Taekwang College of Invention & Science (translated via Chinese) paid a visit to Jiangsu University. Ren Xiaofei, Director of the Language and Culture Center and Dean the College of Liberal Arts extended a warm welcome to the visitors on behalf of Jiangsu University. She elaborated to them on the recent development, the philosophy of schooling, and the internationalization strategy of Jiangsu University, focusing on the policies of all kinds for overseas students in China. Doctor Yin Zilong, a faculty of the School of Teacher Education, gave a lecture on the international vision and the Chinese culture.

After that, the Korean delegates toured the campus, the History Museum of Jiangsu University and the Xijin Ferry in Zhenjiang. They were deeply impressed by the beautiful campus environment and the teaching facilities of Jiangsu University.

Since 2015 Taekwang College of Invention & Science has established rapport with Jiangsu University and sent faculties and students to learn Chinese culture each year here in Jiangsu University. Taekwang College of Invention & Science set up in Pusan Metropolitan City in February 1972 is the only privately-owned institution of higher learning featuring invention and innovation in Korea designated jointly by the Korean Ministry of Education, Korean Intellectual Property Office and the Education Department of Pusan Metropolitan City. And it is also the first college featuring the invention education.
