On Sept. 26th, Professor Lo Sing Kai, Associate Vice President (Graduate Studies) of the Education University of Hong Kong and Professor So Wing Mui Winnie, Associate Dean of the Graduate School conducted an interview for 2017 Master of Education (MEd) candidates in JSU.

In a lecture titled “Curricula of the Education University of Hong Kong”, Professor Lo first detailed the curricula and teaching arrangement of the Education University of Hong Kong. Then he concluded his lecture by patiently answering the questions raised by students about the academic system, internship program, and scholarship of his university. After the lecture, Professor Lo and Professor Su had a group interview with the 8 students who had signed up.

Vice President Chen Long of Jiangsu University met with the visitors from Hong Kong, introducing the hundred years’ history and the effective and fruitful internationalization strategy of Jiangsu University. Professor Lo illustrated the philosophy of schooling and the cultivation mode of MEd of the Education University of Hong Kong. Both parties agreed on cooperation in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and organizing a joint teacher training program.
