To commemorate the birth of Confucius, 2568th anniversary members of the Faculty of Arts organized the "birthday suit of Han costume and classics" in September 28, 2017 at the windmill Hill Community under the guidance of Wan Chao teacher. This event has also been fortunate to have been invited to some of the community's volunteers, and also attracted the community's primary school students to participate in the event.
Before the start of the campaign, volunteers from the Jiangsu University School of Arts prepared the materials and helped the children to wear Chinese clothes. After the completion of the preparatory work, the activity begins.
First of all, in a volunteer led by the teacher, the children read the "Oration" as a memorial to Confucius. After the recitation, the volunteer teacher introduced Confucius's personal resume, life story and major achievements. Then, in order to make you feel the charm of Confucius culture, the volunteer teacher asked everyone to come up with the prepared Analects, and read the thoughts of the Analects together with the students in a recitation. Then, as the atmosphere rose, the teacher selected several classical quotations from the Analects and explained the meaning of the paragraphs to the students. Everyone has benefited very much. Finally, five children read their favorite Confucius quotations in turn, and talked freely about their feelings. The volunteer teacher summarized the activities and finished the activities successfully.
Through this activity, the participating members all remember Confucius's birthday commemorative significance, also set up the Confucius advocated Renyilizhi letter values, and as the organizers of the Jiangsu University college not only inherited very well and promote the spirit of Confucius and Kong Ziwen, but also added a college literary flavor and culture appeal.
