On the afternoon of July 19, 2024, the campers of the 2024 “China Roots Journey” Summer Camp “Longyinqinyun” in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province visited Yanhuang Foreign Language School in Dantu District. The beautiful campus environment and the warm reception of teachers and students made the overseas Chinese youths feel the care and friendliness of their compatriots in their home country.

First of all, Mr. Bao Zhuming, the principal of the school, welcomed all the campers on behalf of the teachers and students of Yanhuang Foreign Language School, and hoped that they could have a different experience and harvest in Yanhuang Foreign Language School. Mr. Liu Man, Director of the Political and Educational Department, introduced the basic situation of the school, so that the campers could know more about this school and the youthful strength of the contemporary Chinese teenagers who are contributing to the construction of a better country and the spreading of Chinese culture. The most touching part of the program was the gift-giving session, in which students of Yanhuang Foreign Language School and the visiting campers exchanged gifts with each other in a joyful manner.

The campers visited the school's food and agriculture education base with great enthusiasm, experienced the calligraphy and pottery classes, fully felt the full happiness when harvesting Chinese agriculture, and also appreciated the profoundness of the excellent traditional Chinese culture. They tasted hand-picked cucumbers, wrote the Chinese character for “福”, and made ceramic clay in the midst of laughter.
