ZHANG Jie, born in Wenshang, Shandong, director of Department of International Language Tranining at Language and Culture Center of Jiangsu University, visiting scholar of Western Sydney Univeristy, worked as a translator and coordinator from 1997 - 2000 in Jiangsu Construction and Engineering Company in Singaore.

He is devoted to English teaching, interested in Chinese-English Translation theory and practice, and enthusiastic about the dissemination of Chinese classics; having translated and published more than 20 books.
