On April 7th, the conference of the "My Beautiful Encounter with China" series of activities for international students in China, guided by the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of the Ministry of Education and organized by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education, was held in Beijing. Diplomats from ten countries to China, nearly a hundred award-winning international students, representatives of universities and other education departments from multiple regions, and institutions such as the People's Daily Press attended the event. Jiang Yonghua, Deputy Director of the Language and Culture Center of our school, was invited to attend the ceremony.

The event presented awards to the winners in the 2022 "My Beautiful Encounter with China" essay and short video competition. Due to the excellent performance of our international students in the competition, our school was awarded the "Excellent Organization Award" by the Ministry of Education's Study Abroad Service Center. Cheng Jiacai, the director of the Ministry of Education's Study Abroad Service Center, presented the award to Jiang Yonghua who is on behalf of Jiangsu University.

It is reported that the "My Beautiful Encounter with China" essay and short video competition has become an effective platform to show China's image to the world in multiple aspects and integrate Chinese and foreign cultures. The Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education has introduced the organizing plan for the new "My Beautiful Encounter with China" essay short video competition this year. Language and Culture Center of JSU will conduct timely preparation for the competition through on-site learning and in-depth communication with excellent universities; At the same time, Language and Culture Center will actively explore and promote the stories of our excellent international students in order to enhance the influence of our school's international Chinese education in a more diverse way.
