Department of International Chinese Language Education Holds Teachers' Seminar on Midterm Teaching Evaluation for International Undergraduate Students

On April 23, 2025, the Department of International Chinese Language Education held a teachers' seminar on midterm teaching evaluation for international undergraduate students taught in English in Room 1104 of Jingjiang Building. All teachers from the Teaching and Research Section attended the seminar.
The seminar focused on discussions about teaching highlights, difficulties and improvement measures. The teachers affirmed the improvement in students' attendance, homework submission and teaching effectiveness, but also pointed out problems such as insufficient learning motivation and loose classroom discipline among students from some countries.
All teachers brainstormed and put forward countermeasures for the existing problems in teaching, including optimizing midterm evaluation questionnaires, adopting the video resource library of Reference Framework for Chinese Culture and National Conditions Teaching in International Chinese Language Education, strengthening invigilation management, and enhancing the collaborative management of head teachers, so as to jointly improve teaching quality.
