On September 29th, the Challenge Competition named "One Minute Walking 'Belt and Road'" of Chinese Bridge Challenge Series, hosted by the China-foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center successfully concluded. Pulkit Sharma (Xia Tianle), an Indian student recommended by Jiangsu University Language and Culture Center, won the "Excellence in Creativity Award".

Since the competition began from July 22, the organizing committee has received 236 entries from more than 50 countries and regions, including Egypt, Thailand, Pakistan, Vietnam, Italy, Switzerland and Russia. They use language as the link of interpersonal communication, use words as a bridge to the world, tell their own experiences and feelings in China about cities, cultural customs, anecdotes, etc.

Xia Tianle not only shows the scene of " Paddling on the green waves, people seem to be playing in the painting" in the video, but also expressing his love emotionally for Zhenjiang in Chinese.

Xia Tianle is an international student who loves China, but also loves Chinese culture. He is cheerful, lively and enthusiastic, and is a handsome boy who can sing and dance. He can sing a lot of Chinese songs, and also interested in Chinese opera, he often participates in various Chinese activities in his spare time. He felt that these activities not only help improve his Chinese language, but also learn more about Chinese culture.

Tianle said that he would like to talk about the city that he has studied and lived in for many years – Zhenjiang when he got the notice of the competition. He used his own camera to record what he saw in Zhenjiang, and tell his own story in Zhenjiang with lots of photos and a video. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, he could not come back to study, but the life in Zhenjiang has become is a great part of his memory.

The Language and Culture Center has always attached great importance to various cultural events to promote learning.
