The first conference on Chinese teaching in 2023 academic year held by Language and Culture Center

In order to ensure the smooth running of teaching work in the new semester of 2023, the department of international education of Chinese Teaching held a conference on Chinese teaching at 2:30 pm on February 11th, which was held online and offline simultaneously.

Firstly, Tang Min, the director of the Department of International Education of Chinese Language, introduced the arrangements and requirements for the new semester from the aspects of teaching organization, teaching management, and assessment. She pointed out that the mixed teaching method of online and offline will be carried out this semester, so teachers should be come to the classroom in advance to check online teaching equipment and notify international students in advance. All courses need to be organized according to the requirements of the teaching syllabus, and teachers need to strictly check students attendance, correct homework, and standardize exam management, to ensure the quality of teaching.

Next, Ding Jinyan demonstrated the combination of online and offline teaching method on Tencent Meeting and DingTalk platforms, demonstrating how to balance online and offline teaching effectively. With the cooperation of the teachers online, interaction was carried out and teachers' questions were answered.

Finally, the teachers had an interactive exchange, sharing their experiences, providing valuable opinions and suggestions, and answering each other's questions and difficulties in teaching.
