On the morning of May 22, Li Hongyan, a teacher from the International Chinese Teaching and Research Department of the Language and Culture Center, held a school-level open class of “Comprehensive Chinese for International Students” in the 1109 classroom of Jingjiang Building.

Li Hongyan has won the titles of “Gold Medal Teacher” and “Gold Lesson” of Chinese Language Alliance of Language and Culture Center of the Ministry of Education, as well as the first prize of Global Chinese Microcourse Teaching and the first prize of Jiangsu Microcourse Teaching Competition. In this open class, she taught the course “Integrated Chinese for International Students” with the main line of contextual teaching and task teaching. Her rigorous teaching design, friendly teaching style and vivid Chinese classroom were recognized and praised by the participating teachers.

After the class, Tang Min, Director of International Chinese Teaching Department, hosted the evaluation activity. The teachers affirmed the advantages of Li Hongyan's clear thinking, high student participation, natural cultural integration and reasonable task setting, and also put forward valuable suggestions and opinions.
