Teaching and research conference was held in the new semester

 The International Chinese Language Teaching Department held the first teaching and research conference of the new semester on September 11, 2024. Dean Ren Xiaofei, Vice Dean Yu Hongyan, and Vice Dean Zhou Du from the School of Liberal Art (Language and Culture Center) attended the meeting and provided guidance.

Vice Dean Zhou Du first detailed the teaching tasks for the new semester. At the same time, regarding the academic guidance provided by the center teachers, we remind everyone to pay attention to students' academic planning, preparation for postgraduate entrance exams, credit sorting, and psychological status. Due to the fact that the center teachers will participate in the guidance work of undergraduate thesis in 2024, Vice Dean Zhou Du provided a detailed analysis of the guidance process, reminding the center teachers to pay attention to the start time of thesis guidance, think about the topic ideas for graduation thesis, and share his experience in guiding graduation thesis for many years. Dean Ren Xiaofei expressed her blessings for the new semester to all teachers and put forward specific expectations for teaching and research work. Vice Dean Yu Hongyan emphasized the new requirements for graduate education and introduced the construction work and incentive mechanism of the college (center) for international students to participate in international Chinese language competitions.

The heads of the teaching and research department, Xu Dan and Sun Yue, reported on the teaching situation during the first two weeks of school. All teachers exchanged views on the teaching methods used and the teaching challenges faced during the past two weeks.
