In the afternoon of 4 January, the language teaching team of the “Online Chinese Bridge” delegation project of the Language and Culture Center held a teaching seminar in 1407 Jingjiang Building. The teachers presented the teaching materials designed and produced for the project, talked about their ideas and concepts, and learned from each other. They also discussed and put forward a series of comments and suggestions for improvement.

After listening to the teachers’ lectures, Jiang Yonghua, the project leader and deputy director of the Language and Culture Centre, suggested that the online Chinese Bridge project should highlight the theme of spreading modern China, with emphasis on listening and speaking. Teachers should do a good job of “three preparations”, strengthen the interaction with the students with normalized, standardized and modernized courseware and teaching contents, and improve the participation and enthusiasm of students.

“Stepping on the ‘Chinese Bridge’ to start the cultural experience of Chinese agricultural machinery” is an online delegation project sponsored by Center for Language Education and Cooperation, undertaken by Language and Culture Center of Jiangsu University, and co-organized by School of Agricultural Engineering to stimulate the enthusiasm of overseas young people for Chinese learning. The Language and Culture Center has done a lot of effective work in the process of project application and preparation. The project will open on January 10, 2022.
