On 25 July 2023, the seventh day of the China Roots-Seeking Tour( Zhenjiang Camp), the campers went to the Mi Fu Calligraphy Park in China in the morning to experience the beauty of strokes in Chinese calligraphy.
The first place the campers arrived at was the core attraction of Mi Fu Calligraphy Park, the Rui Mo Xuan (瑞墨轩). Mr Wu introduced the students to the calligraphy competitions that have been held in this area and encouraged them to learn calligraphy and experience the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
Campers explored the Mi Family Landscape and Streamscape, where there are mountains and water, half mountain and half water, the whole park is full of flowers and plants, birds crowing, ancient and rhythmic, making people linger and forget.
While enjoying the art of Mi Fu's calligraphy and painting, the campers travelled through time and space, conversing with the master, mingling with the landscape and communicating with the soul, and learning together about Mi Fu's life and calligraphic contributions. While exploring the Mi Fu Calligraphy Park, the campers were also impressed by Mi Fu's character and talent, and let out a sigh of relief.
