On the afternoon of July 21st, 2024 “China Roots Journey” Summer Camp Jiangsu Zhenjiang “Longyinqinyun” camp study tour came to Danyang, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhenjiang. Danyang ancient name Qu'a, has more than 2400 years of history, is a city of culture with a long history and humanities, a city of manufacturing with developed industries and distinctive characteristics, a city of innovation that promotes science and technology and respects talents, a city of ecology that lives by the water and is beautiful and livable, and a city of harmony that is rich in people's livelihoods and people's well-being, and the indexes of comprehensive strength, scientific and technological innovation, green development and the quality of new townships rank steadily in the first 20 of the country's top 100 counties. The first stop of Danyang study went into the city of Danyang.

The first stop of Danyang study went into Jiangsu Yuyue Medical Equipment Co. Ltd. specializes in the research and development, manufacturing and marketing of medical equipment, with 10 R&D centers and 7 manufacturing centers around the world, and has formed a complete network of research and development, production, marketing and service. The campers had a close visit to the factory of Yuyue, and were amazed by the well-organized workshops, intelligent production lines, and advanced medical devices and equipments.
Next, the campers entered Jiangsu Quanzhen Optical Technology Co. Danyang enjoys the reputation of “the capital of glasses”, is the world's largest lens production base, the national glasses industry standard maker. In the company, the campers felt the magic and charm of eyeglasses technology.
Finally, the campers went into Zhao Jun Erhu (Zhao's Erhu) studio to visit and experience. “Zhao Jun Erhu” production technology is a provincial non-legacy project in Jiangsu Province, ‘Zhao Jun qin workshop’ was selected as one of the first batch of ‘Zhenjiang old character’ title. The two masters, Zhao Guowu and Zhao Jun, introduced the erhu production techniques and development history to the campers, and demonstrated erhu playing on site. The campers found it quite novel to try and experience playing erhu under the guidance of the teachers, and enjoyed a
magical journey of learning Chinese musical instruments. Today, the campers left their footprints in Danyang, drew the first outline of the city in their minds, and gained unique memories of Danyang.
