On the morning of July 18, the campers of the 2024 “China Roots Journey” Summer Camp Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, “Longyinqinyun” camp came to Jinshan, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Jinshan, understanding the rich historical stories and legends of Jinshan, and experiencing the profound cultural heritage of Zhenjiang.

Under the guidance of the interpreter, the campers learned that Jinshan has a peculiar landscape of “temple wrapped in mountains”, which is known as the three mountains together with “Jiao Mountain” and “Beigu Mountain”, and has a long history. At the entrance of Jinshan Temple, there are two stone lions, campers have come forward to touch the stone lions and pray for good luck.

In the Daxiongbao Hall, the campers learned about the Buddhist culture of Jinshan Temple and the history of Buddhism in China. At the Miaogao Terrace, they listened to the narrator tell the story of the heroine Liang Hongyu's fight against the Jin Dynasty.

Afterwards, the campers climbed to the top of Jinshan Mountain to enjoy the beautiful view of the river and the sky.

On this trip to Jinshan, the campers not only enjoyed the beautiful view of the river and sky, but also gained rich historical and cultural knowledge, and felt the unique charm of Zhenjiang city.
