October 18-19th, the 2021"Discovery of Jiangsu, walk into the blessed city Zhenjiang" hosted by the Information Office and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province was held in Zhenjiang. The event invited consuls, consular officials of the Consulate General in Shanghai of the United States and South Korea and foreign friends in Jiangsu to walk into Zhenjiang, trace back historical culture, learn about modern agriculture, and appreciate the style of "Prosperity and Beautiful" in new Jiangsu.
The opening ceremony of the event was held at Zhenjiang Museum. At the ceremony, the international student programs of "Spring River Flower Moon Night" reciting and "Left Hand Pointing to the Moon" Guqin (a traditional Chinese musical instrument) performance, cultivated by Jiangsu University's School of Liberal Arts (Language and Culture Center), made a stunning appearance. Six international students from India and other countries, with accurate pronunciation, full of emotion, recited the "Spring River Flower Moon Night" which is "lonely article over the whole Tang", with the perspective of Chinese culture to depict the magnificent scenery of Zhenjiang. Yang Jing, from Zimbabwe, played the music "Left Hand Point to the Moon" with Guqin, which presents the world-class "intangible cultural heritage" of Zhenjiang, the literary and artistic elements of the Guqin of Mei An school, and shows the love of foreign friends for The Guqin culture in China.
It is reported that "Discovery of Jiangsu" is a collection of style interview experience brand built by the Information Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, aimed to discover the beauty and charm of Jiangsu through the unique perspective of foreigners living in Jiangsu, and with the help of these "civilian ambassadors" to introduce and promote Jiangsu to the world. The School of Liberal Arts (Language and Culture Center) attaches great importance to this event and rehearsed carefully many times.
