Recently, with the approval of the Centre for Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the University has been approved as a test site for the Medical Chinese Proficiency Test (MCT).
The Medical Chinese Proficiency Test (MCT) is a standardised language test to assess the level of medical Chinese language application, which is jointly developed by the Centre for Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and HANKUO International and five key medical schools in China. The MCT is designed for international medical students, students studying medicine in Chinese outside of China, and Chinese non-first language healthcare workers who conduct clinical treatment in Chinese within or outside of China, to assess their ability to communicate in Chinese with patients, healthcare workers and related personnel in medical/medical situations.
The Medical Chinese Proficiency Test (MCT) is another standardised language test approved by the University after the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and the Chinese Proficiency Speaking Test (HSKK). The university will take this opportunity to promote learning and teaching with the test, effectively improve the ability of international medical students to communicate in Chinese with patients and medical staff, greatly enhance the quality of international medical students' education and the effect of clinical internship, and effectively promote the vigorous development of the university's education for medical students studying in China.
