TOEFL and GRE Online Exam Admission Notice of Jiangsu University Test Centre

According to the "Overall Plan on the Implementation of Class B B Control for New Coronavirus Infections" issued by the State Council's Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism Comprehensive Group, the "Work Plan for the Prevention and Control of New Coronavirus Infections in Schools" issued by the Ministry of Education's Leading Group of New Coronavirus Infections, and the relevant prevention and control policies of Jiangsu Province and Zhenjiang City, and in conjunction with the actual examination sites, all candidates taking the TOEFL and GRE examinations at the examination sites are requested to understand and observe the following regulations. In order to provide a healthy, safe and orderly examination environment for the candidates, all the candidates taking TOEFL, GRE and other exams at the test centre of Jiangsu University are requested to understand and comply with the following regulations:

I. Campus Gate Control

The International Language Testing Centre of Jiangsu University is located on the 1st floor of Building IV of the Jingjiang Teaching Building in the northwest corner of the main campus of Jiangsu University. Gate No. 1 of Guyang Road is the only entrance, and all candidates must enter and exit through it, and walk for about 3 to 5 minutes to reach the test centre.

TOEFL morning admission time: 07:30, closing time: 08:30;

TOEFL afternoon admission time: 12:30, cut-off time: 13:30;

GRE entrance time: 08:30, cut-off time: 09:30.

It is recommended that TOEFL morning session test takers arrive at the test centre before 8:00 a.m., TOEFL afternoon session test takers before 13:00 a.m., and GRE test takers before 9:00 a.m., so as to ensure that you have enough time to complete the pre-test process and enter the test centre on time. Friends and relatives are not allowed to enter the school, please do not gather at the entrance or wait for a long time.

II. Requirements for Candidates Entering the School

1. Candidates will present the paper version of the examination confirmation letter and the original identity document which is consistent with the application and valid, and other materials at Gate 1 of Gu Yang Road.

2. All candidates will be tested for body temperature. Candidates with body temperature <37.3℃ can enter the examination centre. Candidates with body temperature ≥37.3℃ will be subject to a second temperature test. Candidates whose body temperature is ≥37.3℃ in both measurements will be refused entry to the examination centre.

3. Candidates shall wear masks throughout the examination (except for face recognition and checking and taking photos), obey the guidance of on-site staff, and keep a safe social distance of one metre or more from others throughout the examination.

4. At the end of the examination, off-campus candidates should follow the designated route to leave the school as soon as possible and are not allowed to stay on the campus.

5. During the examination, the examination will be terminated if the candidate has a body temperature ≥37.3 degrees, or if he/she has continuous coughing, difficulty in breathing or other flu symptoms, etc. The examination will be terminated if the candidate has a body temperature ≥37.3 degrees. Candidates are responsible for any additional costs incurred.
